Therefore, it is awesome that products like the JGAURORA 3D Printer are on the market. This industrial-quality printer can make incredibly detailed, large prints without the industrial 3D printer price-tag.

How Does it Work
The JGAURORA is built to be sturdy and reliable, made from metal and with an A5 build size.
It’s designed to resume printing seamlessly after a pause, is capable of creating highly detailed prints in a fairly reasonable timeframe, and is ideal for testing out design prototypes.
Accessories
Accessories that come with the JGAURORA include a spool of PLA filament, a hex wrench kit, and a USB stick with sample files and the operation manual inside it.
Features
Print Dimensions
Despite being a commercial printer, the JGAURORA can make prints of a fairly large size, and it won’t struggle to do so.
This is great for creatives that enjoy projects that simply require more room.
Footprint Size
To accommodate the ability to make such large prints, this printer has a sizable footprint.
Given the way it is structured, users will need a fairly massive, dedicated space for the JGAURORA.
USB Compatible
Typically, 3D printers work with direct connections, Wi-Fi, or SD cards in order to read print files. JGAURORA uses a USB system instead.
There aren’t many that use SD cards as often as they do USBs, so this is the kind of compatibility we like to see.
Quick Assembly
We hesitate to say that this printer comes ready to print, as technically you will need to assemble it.
This assembly takes just a little more than a minute and is not taxing on even the most impatient of people.
Stop–Start Function
This is such an incredible feature! If a print is stopped before a job is finished, due to a manual pause or a loss in power, the JGAURORA will resume printing seamlessly.
Those that dislike leaving the printer running overnight or while they are out of the house will love this function.
Black Diamond Print Bed
The heated print bed on the JGAURORA 3D Printer does not require glue or tape. Due to a textured surface, prints will stay in place during session.
Sometimes, they stay in place a little too well, requiring you to get creative with scrapers to remove the final print once it has cooled.
Semi-Automatic Leveling
That this feature is listed as semi-automatic is somewhat misleading, as you do all the leveling adjustments manually.
At best, the way this system works is as a guide.
JGAURORA 3D Printer Review
The Positives
Smooth Functionality
Look, SD cards are handy, but they’re so fragile and easy to lose. USB sticks are easier to cart around, and much better for kids.
We really enjoy having a USB compatible 3D printer for a change. Kids can work on designs at school and easily transfer the files straight to the printer when they come home. The same goes for you hopping between the home and the office!
Now, another pleasing function is the start-stop feature. If you don’t like leaving prints unmonitored (with worry that your prints will go haywire) then you are going to love this!
If you’re thinking that stopping and starting mean rows of disrupted filament, then think again. The way the JGAURORA works is that even when the print resumes, printing will not begin until the nozzle has heated the filament properly.
This creates seamless progression between disrupted prints-in-progress, to the point where imperfections are tiny and easily ignored.
This printer also includes a filament detector that will let you know when your filament is low so you’re not left stranded on an ongoing project.
Easy Assembly
3D printers can sometimes feel like a Ph.D. is required to assemble. They can be hideously complicated, and require a lot of knowledge about the guts of these machines to make the process less painful.
This is great for tinkerers, but for those that just want to get down to printing beautiful projects, it can be a huge deterrent.
Unlike other kits, the JGAURORA comes in two pieces (the frame and y-axis) meaning assembly takes no time at all, and even the inexperienced will have a simple time of it.
Easy Printing
Owning a 3D printer that does not need glue, tape, or solvents is a wondrous thing that should be celebrated!
Seriously. Fiddling with reels of tape or messing around with solvents is painstaking, and a waste of money and resources.
The uniqueness of the textured, glass surface, affixed to the heating bed, prevents models from moving around during printing.
This saves you time, stress, and also makes the printer much easier for kids to use.
The JGAURORA 3D Printer is built with large designs and projects in mind. You won’t have to downsize on your creativity or spend hours printing small pieces to realize your 3D printing dreams.
This printer makes it easy to tackle projects of all sizes.
Great for Beginners
Thanks to its smooth operating features and its easy-to-assemble design, this 3D printer is a great option for those wanting to start out in the craft.
Users will also have an intuitive touchscreen menu that’s easy to follow, just as you would with your smartphone. Some users have even left it in their hands of teenagers to put together and print all on their own.
With all of its useful features, this printer still comes in at about half the price of others in its class, meaning those on a budget, or those just starting out, won’t have to dive too far into their savings to get to crafting.
Customer Service
Whether you’re investing in a hundred dollar machine, or thousand dollar machine, it’s always nice to know the company has you covered should anything be of concern.
With the JGAURORA 3D Printer, you’ll be given a 1-year warranty protecting you against any damages or manufacturing errors in your new 3D printer.
Should you have an issue, you’ll need to contact JGAURORA’s customer service department and they’ll be able to help you solve the issue.
What’s great is that current customers have raved about their service department, praising service employees for being quick, attentive, and helpful when it comes to solving any issues.
Now, you can ease your worried mind.
Sturdy
Since this 3D printer is large and made out of metal, it’s a sturdy machine that you won’t have to worry about falling apart anytime soon.
You can physically feel the quality put into the build of this printer, both on the body and the print bed, so you know it’s ready to tackle big projects without backing down.
There’s a chance this printer will last for years to come (or until you’re ready to move up to an even more advanced printer).
The Negatives
No Wi-Fi
Despite the usefulness of a USB connection, it is worth pointing out that this is the only way to transfer print files to the JGAURORA.
This isn’t so much a problem as an inconvenience, but one that we felt worth pointing out.
Weighty with a Large Footprint
There isn’t really any dancing around it. This is a heavy 3D printer, and after setting it up, you really will not want to move it.
It is best to place the JGAURORA on a surface that can support 30+ pounds. Speaking of a sturdy surface, the footprint of this printer is going to take up a lot of space. As this is a printer designed to make large prints, one would expect this to be the case.
If you decide that this printer is for you, make sure that you have the room for it! If you’re working with limited space either in your home or office, be sure to see if you can reserve space for this printer.
However, if you have ample room and workspace, you won’t have an issue.
3D Printed Parts
For some peculiar reason, certain internal parts of the JGAURORA are 3D printed rather than metal or injected plastic.
We cannot fathom why the designers did this. Perhaps to show that you can print replacement parts yourself?
Whatever the reason, some may not like it; as strong as filament can be, it does not have the same structural integrity as metal or injected plastic parts.
That being said, it is great to know that acquiring future replacement parts will be an easy fix.
Auto-Level System
The JGAURORA comes with an auto-leveling system…of a kind. Press a button and the printer will go about leveling each corner of the print bed, but you have to manually adjust the bed itself.
Most times, for a proper leveling, you’ll have to do it twice as well.
Print Cooling Fan
A print cooling fan is a nice feature. The JGAURORA’s fan is effective but very noisy.
Here’s a video showing the JGAURORA 3D Printer in action.
Overall Verdict
The JGAURORA is a 3D printer that can handle large and detailed prints with a pleasing degree of finesse.
Despite a large footprint and a sorta-kinda-maybe automatic leveling system, an outstanding pause function and great print quality may make the JGAURORA 3D Printer one of the best 3D printers on the market.
Where to Buy the JGAURORA 3D Printer
While JGAURORA is a hard name to pronounce, it’s also hard to find.
Thankfully though, 3D printers are becoming more common in homes and offices, and the JGAURORA 3D Printer has been satisfying a number of customers with its performance and quality.
Even with it’s rising popularity, you may still need a little help finding this 3D printer in-store and online.
This brand seems to be selling only through online retailers, and you can kick-start your search by checking out the following outlets.
- 3D Printers Online (from $539)
- iPrint 3D (from $376)
But of course, you can also find this printer on Amazon.
