About
Craft Schmaft is the brainchild of Claire Waring (that’s me over there). It began as a blog in 2007 filled with crafty musings of a then Creative Director in digital advertising. What began as a pastime became became an obsession and an online sensation as craft became cool again. Free patterns, pics and tutorials spread to the corners of the globe. Magazine features, trade shows and classes followed as I took a leap into the world of crafty business.
Since 2009 Craft Schmaft sewing patterns and craft kits have brought smiles to both makers and receivers of quirky plush toys, mobiles and more. Available in stores and online, the philosophy of “Making Happy” is at the heart of everything I create.

I just happened to stumble across your blog, such adorable creations. I noticed you mentioned in one of your posts that you were now selling your patterns. I couldn’t find a link anywhere on your blog for purchasing. I’m particularly interested in the owl mobile, just perfect for my soon to be grand baby.
