Yesterday I taught a kids craft class and had an absolute ball. I’ve taught a lot of adult classes before and but this was my first children’s class so I was really keen to have it go well. I needn’t have worried, the group of 11 year old girls there were just amazing. There were squeals of delight from the moment they arrived with animated discussions around which socks and fabric they should put together and which threads would match. They snipped and stitched, giggled and smiled. They watched and listened, admired each others work and each made a gorgeous little owl to take home. It was so much fun I think I’ll run a few more in the next holidays. Here’s a snap of their owls…
