Meet Franklin

We knew that we were expecting a boy. We knew he would arrive on Saturday as I had to have a c-section. We had absolutely no idea that he would be so large (Born a whopping 4.75kg/nearly 11 pounds) nor that we could love him so much. He enjoys afternoon snuggles, big feeds and long walks on the beach.

Meet Franklin…
Thank you so much for all your well wishes. We had a very smooth delivery and a very happy healthy baby. Although it has to be said that he looked more like a toddler compared to the other tiny bubbas in the nursery!

Congratulations Claire on another gorgeous boy in your family. Wow he is big, I am so surprised you werent aching during pregnancy. I had my daughter who was 9.2 when she was born and I definately felt the weight too, but sometimes I think it is all in the length of them as well. I am sure he is a happy baby with the wonderful nursery you designed for him!

I’ve been stalking for so long and so glad to hear he arrived safely but man 4.75kgs is huuuuuuuge. I know keira was huge at 3.9 but 4.75kgs is one amazing feat.

My second was a whopping 10lb 3oz so I know just how you feel….did they suspect a huge buba? We didn’t and I was the same as you…all out in front
Isn’t it funny how you are told not to lift anything and yet your baby weighs nearly 5kilo
