Baby Jessica’s Owls

July 22, 2010

It’s still all sickness and flu around here but I’ve been working on a little string of owls to go across a pram for the gorgeous baby Jessica. This was meant to be a newborn baby present and she’s now nearly four months old so I think it’s safe to say that I’m a little behind!

I put bells in a couple of them to make a little noise as she kicks them.

All the owls are finished, I’m just trying to track down some pink coloured elastic to thread them all together.

Gorgeous! And elastic takes dye well so that might be the easiest wat to get the colour you want. I spent many a night dying elastic with my sister for various creations when she was a tech studying fashion.

  4. Thats is a lovely idea for the pram….I was going to make a mobile for my neice but she is now 4 months old so maybe a pram toy? are those containers from the kids toy machines?? Great idea for the bells :-)

Hi Jenni, Yup just little containers out of bubblegum machines – the ones that have toys in them. You need something for the bell to rattle around in otherwise the stuffing muffles the sound.
