It’s a boy!
April 7, 2010
The envelope has been opened and it’s a boy! Oscar is going to have a little brother come August and I have some nursery planning to do. I’m almost finished this blue owl mobile (available as kits) with robots on it which I love but I’m feeling like I need a whole new theme for this bubba. Aeroplanes and fluffy clouds are high on the list at the moment but I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to make a plane out of socks… hmmm…

Congratulations welcome to the ‘two boy’ club! Very exciting!! I love that Robot print. Was going to make some little owls to send as extras to my nephews in the New Baby’s present but couldn’t find any nice suitable material up here
Do you get yours on-line??
April 8, 2010 at 9:14 AM
Thanks Jenni! The robot print was from retromummy.com but it is an old one and I only got a metre or so from her
I think there’s such a lack of cool prints for boys!

Oh congratulations! I shall wait with baited breath to see what flying machines you can create from the humble sock
April 7, 2010 at 7:07 PM
Strangely, I have absolutely no doubt you could fashion a plane out of a sock. Or a rocket. Or a solar system. Or fluffy clouds for that matter. Congratulations Mum!

He is very excited Andi but I don’t know how much he’ll like sharing the limelight when #2 actually arrives.

yay for you! How exciting, terrific news. I am so sure of your ability to make a plane from a sock, I dare you to try it.
April 9, 2010 at 3:11 PM
yay for boys!
Sorry I didn’t say a proper hello at billiecart the other week. It looked like you had your hands full and then I blinked and you were gone.
April 9, 2010 at 3:48 PM
ahhh yes… that would have been the screaming toddler! Had to make a speedy exit before he tore the place apart… which makes me wonder how I’m going to cope with two little boy terrors! eeek!
April 9, 2010 at 4:22 PM
