Toy Society Xmas drop #23

This morning I dropped Mrs Owl up in the Pine Trees at Manly Lagoon Park for the Toy Society Xmas. It wasn’t all smooth sailing, within 5 minutes of being dropped the council clean up man thought she was garbage and proceeded to pluck her down, I intervened just in time to save her from the garbage bin! He was most apologetic afterwards and was quite fascinated about the toy society so toys in the Northern Beaches area should be safe from now on! Nippers is on this morning and the park fills with little kids so hopefully Mrs Owl finds a nice home. I’ll be keeping an eye out for her!

Yike! I have done drops for them before but have never gotten a return email. I hope mine weren’t trashed!

What a cute surprise the finder of Mrs Owl will find. They are a wonderful society, I’m going to make a goal to do a drop myself in 2010 : )
