yep 3 pink lovers in this house!!!!! my little ones are inheriting it from me! I made keira a tee with a green russian doll appliqued on the front, ummmm she says well, its a little bit green and I want pink!!!!!!!!

so yes pink is hot!

It is a strange phenomenon isn’t it. I’m real ‘non-girly’ girl and have three year old twins – one of whom loves all things pink and one whom (thankfully for my sanity) loves yellow and orange.
But she’s a rarity – all our other three-year-old friends love pink too.
I’m in love with that Saffron Craig fabric.

You’re so right Marina! I do like the red with pink – it seems to take the edge off the candy-ness if you know what I mean. My best friend has a complete obsession with pink although other than that she’s not so girlish. I’m so intrigued by the pink thing – I think I’ll have to look into it more.

yep, girls love pink – it’s so strange! Luckily for me Eva still has no care at all about what she wears or what colour her toys are, so i am going for everything but pink!!

I’ve tried to fight the pink trend ever since I started crafting! Sometimes, though, you just have to give in and go with the flow……. It seems to be what little girls (and some mums- if they admit it!!) want.

I never liked pink as a child, but pink and lilac were forced upon me when it came to my parents decorating my room. It was the 70s, after all, and the era of wall paper with big flowers and chenille bedspreads.

Given my natural dislike of pink, I am still amazed when I see little girls totally going gaga for the colour! So that’s interesting that you sold out of pink so fast.

Not sure what it is – seems to be in built, Katelin is now 2 1/2 and she chooses to wear pink, asks for the pink balloon and the pink cup. I don’t dress her in pink much, but at the moment it is her colour of choice – all on her own – skirts are becoming a favourite too! The owls are gorgeous. Oh and her second choice used to be yellow, its shifting to purple!

BTW, I LOVE your owls and that fabric. Saffron’s dandelions (in pink, of course) are to die for! But so expensive.
