Smile

December 5, 2009

Well I made it in one piece to the Finders Keepers market last night. After frantic printing, sewing and packing it was such a relief to stand back and look at the stall all set up. The market was fantastic – music, drinks and stacks of visitors. In the crazy lead up to this market I’d almost forgotten (yes one of those WHAT AM I DOING? moments) why I decided to start this business in the first place. Why I chucked in a fantastic job to be surrounded by piles of socks and stuffing. Last night I realised that I have the best job in the world and that is, quite simply, to make people smile. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing people’s faces light up when they spot a little owl, woof woof or giraffe. Nothing more amazing than to think that squeals of delight are a result of my creations.

.

Day 2 of Finders Keepers today and lots of photos to come and a stack of new kits to go into the Craft Schmaft store tomorrow.

I found you at Finders Keepers today and in amongst the hundreds of owl “things” in the markets yours were by far the cutest and least scary!

I am petrified of owls and had to avoid a few stalls because there was just too much owling (yep, its a word) going on!

So i just have to say i love your little owls in all their cuteness :)

You did good love, the stand looked amazing! I must of walk passed about three times before I could catch your attention. I can’t wait to hear all about it. Bx

    Natalie :)
