Pics from Avalon Market
November 23, 2009
It was a classic Aussie summer day for Avalon village market on Saturday. And we’re only in spring! I’ve been a bit slack on taking photos at markets recently so here’s a couple of pics, more on the facebook fanpage. I was down near the rides so despite having to listen to the dodgem cars and kiddie entertainment all day I did get lots of very excited little ones convincing parents to buy them sock kits. So cute! I think for the next few markets I’ll sew up a few softies – not everyone is up for sewing their own friends.

So glad you didn’t melt in the heat! Would so have some pre made ones ready for people to buy as not everyone is as special as you and can be all crafty. Being able to buy one on the spot would be perfect for non sewers.

Your stall looked gorgeous! I bet you wished you had a dollar each time you were asked about that beautiful wooden tree. It’s just a lovely addition to your setup, the colour of the owls just pop against the wood. Yes, I vote for a few readymade sockies, fabulous idea! Bx
