Goodbye day job, hello crafting!
October 15, 2009
The day has arrived, my last day as a creative at Tequila. Four years I’ve been in this madmen-esque world. I’ve still not quite figured out how I ended up in an advertising agency. I started out graduating from uni to become a web designer. A few client presentations and stint in London later, I found myself as a creative director surrounded by the most incredibly talented team I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Any day now they’re all gonna figure out that they’re way more creative than I’ve ever been. So if any of you are reading this here’s cheers, I’m very sad to leave you digi boys!! Ahhh but they’ll still be all around me… tweeting, blogging, facebooking. You never really leave a digital team. Oh and I will be crashing the Xmas party.
.
So now I’m off on an adventure of crafting and sock toys. It’s been referred to around these advertising parts as “living the dream”. I really can’t wait to get stuck in.
.
P.S. You can madmen yourself here.

Go clairebear.
These are awesome. I want one
Working for yourself is the best.
As boring as it may sound. just get a good accountant to guide you through
your tax obligations.
The rest is you can do standing on your head.
