A great day at Mathildas

First market stall ever for me today. I had no idea of what to expect but arrived bright and chirpy and had a fantastic time. I was truly blown away by all the lovely comments and ooohs… and ahhhs over the sock toys. And I sold plenty too! All in all a great success. But I have to say this wasn’t just my success, so many people have helped me over the past couple of months that there will be a whole post tomorrow on thank yous. For now I think it’s time for me to go to bed… although I’m still slightly buzzing.

Not sure if you remember, but I was at your stall yesterday and went off to find ‘the husband wallet’ and instead got stuck outside holding coffees! Anyway – I looked you up and love all your are doing – so cute

Your stall looked great and Charlotte can’t wait to make her owl. Those spots with the stairs are the best, we had one the first time you get so much extra space.

Am loving the owls and the mobile. Can I ask where you found the socks for your mobile? Love the stripey one. And I think I know someone who might like a monster! Can’t wait to have a look in the shop!

Thanks for your comment over on my blog. I did like making Toot – especially since I was the one who was going to buy Toot already made. I was very critical of my Toot though! I wanted to say I think what you have done is awesome – and a great way to stay home with little ones good on you! I wanted to mention for those of us that are a little challenged in the sewing department, I cut my wings out the same way – instead of one reversed, and they are one up the right way and one upside down! Only I notice – and I won’t make the same mistake twice! Hope you get some orders now!
