The big swap and twitter.
April 22, 2009
I’ve always loved the idea of swaps but never gotten around to participating. Never one to do things by halves, I’ve signed up for the biggest swap in crafty history – The 10 piece swap over at Snailblazer. It’s a great idea, basically you send in 10 small items in and get 10 different small items back. So one month to make 10 gorgeousy swap worthy things.
Ambitious – yes. Exciting – yes. Late nights coming up - ooohhh yes.
So what am I going to make? Well I can’t tell you that otherwise I’ll ruin the surprise for the other swapees, but I will post little clues along the way.
In other news I’ve now linked my twitter account with this blog over on the right panel there. I’ve had the twitter account for about 8 months and really never done anything much with it. I always felt like I didn’t really have anything profound, career-like or twitter-worthy to say. In an attempt to get over this I’m going to tweet about crafty projects. I often don’t get around to updating the blog frequently with project progress but twitter might just be the perfect way to give short updates. Stay twooned.

Claire at least you know what you are making. I’m running the swap and have no idea yet!

I’m in this swap too, I think I have an idea, hoping that it is swap-worthy.

Oh Cass I’m bound to make some “genius” last minute change of mind and end up pulling an all nighter to finish them… old habits die hard!
Sophie, having followed your blog for a while now I am sure that ANYTHING you make will be more than swap worthy.
